Staff Support

We are an international research community and recognise the importance of providing a friendly, supportive environment. particularly for those who find themselves in a totally new culture. We want you to feel at home. Rothamsted sites offer staff support services to anyone experiencing personal difficulties or work-related problems. At Rothamsted, there is a Postgraduate Association and an International Staff and Students Association welcomes new arrivals, provides information and arranges a range of social activities - barbecues, dances, visits etc.

Sports and Social Activities

The sites offer a lively social environment. They also have their own tennis and badminton courts. A full range of activities is arranged, some on an individual basis, others on an inter-departmental basis. A small fitness centre is available on site at Rothamsted Research.
