Resources for learning

Library and Information Services: The library at Rothamsted houses comprehensive collections of books and periodicals. Staff have on- and off-site access to a wide range of online journals and databases. The Rothamsted archives include important material on the history of agriculture, most notably the papers of Sir John Lawes and Sir Henry Gilbert

Computing services: The Institutes' statisticians and computer specialists provide support and training that can be tailored to individual requirements. Ready access is provided across the Institute to PCs and appropriate software for general and specialist use. The Institute's computing services have close links with the BBSRC's Computing Centre which is located at Rothamsted.

Media resources: Professional photographic, graphics and desktop publishing services are provided to help with the preparation and presentation of individual project work.
