VSN International Ltd
Inscentinel Ltd
Rothamsted International
VSN International Ltd is a new force in statistics software and service. The mission is to research, develop and market statistical products and services of the highest quality internationally, through our own operations and in collaboration with carefully selected strategic partners.
VSNi was set up by the Numerical Algorithms Group and Rothamsted Research in spring 2000 and remain wholly owned by them. The main products are Genstat and ASREML. GenStat is a general statistics package that has been used in the most demanding real-life applications for over 30 years. Inscentinel Ltd is developing biological olfaction systems for solving detection problems in security screening, health diagnostics, counterfeit good detection and food quality. Inscentinel is developing systems that are reliable, sensitive, reliable and cost effective.
Visit http://www.inscentinel.com/ for contacts and more details.
Rothamsted International works with developing and transitional countries to advance technologies and expertise needed to address challenges facing agricultural production, environmental impact and related problems. It promotes and shares research excellence in crop and environmental science, and fosters international co-operation in agricultural and environmental research. Provision of appropriate training opportunities and other capacity building measures with the aim of poverty alleviation is central to its work. Clients include both public and private sector organisations.
There are two synergistic components to Rothamsted International. The Rothamsted International Fellowship Scheme is a small charity bringing scientists from developing countries to the UK for agricultural research training and experience. It is entirely based upon donations. Rothamsted International Consulting Ltd is a small company that facilitates the work of Rothamsted International in all of the above areas. A significant feature of Rothamsted International Consulting Limited (RICL) is that it covenants profits to the benefit of the charitable scheme.
